There are many benefits in using essential oils, ranging from relaxation or energy to helping the immune system or aiding in conditions such as asthma or even cancer. The list for using essential oils could literally go on for days! There are only though a few ways to use essential oils. You can use oils aromatically, by inhalation, using a room spray or by diffusing the oils. You can also use them topically by combining the oils with a carrier oil and putting directly on the skin. And finally there are some oils that have been known to help conditions when taken internally.
We are lucky at Garner's to be able to offer our customers products from three different essential oil companies. Wyndmere, Now and Doterra. There are some differences between these three companies that may assist you in determining which one to purchase.
Wyndmere was founded in 1995 and they have a focus on distributing the best essential oils, including oils that are organic, wildcrafted, and pesticide free. Many people are familiar with Now because of their supplement line as well as beauty/skin care products. Unlike Wyndmere now manufactures many other products, where Wyndmere's focus is on essential oils. Oils from both of these companies would be used for topical or aromatic use, but not certified for internal use.
That is where Doterra is different. Doterra uses Certified Pure Therapeutic Grade oils. Doterra uses a combination of steam distillation as well as cold pressed or "expressed" oils in the products. The main difference between Doterra and Wyndmere and Now oils is that Doterra makes some oils that can be taken internally. Many people have found the benefits of taking certain oils internally to be very helpful!
We provide testers of all of the oils we carry so you may find the ones that smell the best for you!
